I love helping people feel confident and strong in their bodies so they feel confident and strong in their lives. While there are many reasons I’m passionate about working with folx to get strong in the gym, the number one reason is that the strength and discipline you gain lifting weights cascades into every other aspect of your life. Strength isn’t just physical – there are mental, emotional, and spiritual components to strength.
My educational background is in counseling, life coaching, and health coaching. These are all skills I utilize with my training clients to get at the core of what you want, why you want it, and what’s holding you back from achieving your goals. As a coach, I always partner with you – we’re in this together! I’m also trained in postural analysis and corrective exercise. You deserve to feel good in your body; when you think about it, it’s the only place you’re ever really going to live.
My own love affair with the iron was reignited when I found heavy strength training and competitive powerlifting. I love the focus of training for a goal within a specified time frame, and the drive to give everything I’ve got and leave it on the platform. It’s exhilarating.
