Flow through gentle movements close to the ground before going into longer static stretches and ending with restorative positions to relax after work and/or before bedtime. We will draw on some of the movement patterns of yoga, as well as various mobility practices, to de-stress and unwind after the workday.
Yoga Wind Down is appropriate for all levels of yoga, stretching, and movement experience. Options will be offered for folks who love rolling around on the floor as well as those who prefer to be seated or standing for stretches. Some amount of comfort with maintaining stretches will be helpful, but we are fans of wiggling around as needed, so there is never any pressure to do exactly what your coach is doing!
Recommended props include: blankets, pillows or bolsters, blocks or heavy books, yoga strap or band, and anything else you like to make yourself comfortable.
