COVID Policy & Procedures

Last Updated 4/1/23

Purpose

We put together the COVID-19 P&P to give insight into why and how we handle COVID-19 precautions while we move together indoors. The P&P follows federal and state COVID-19 guidelines at minimum, but we also listen to our coaches and community members to ensure the physical and emotional health and safety of our members and coaches in the spaces that we operate.

Any update in federal and state COVID-19 policy will be reflected on the P&P and communicated on the S&U website and Member Bulletin.

We would love to hear from you! Please reach out to any of our coaches or email striveanduplift@gmail.com if you need clarity on our current P&P or if you have any feedback or suggestions.

Check-in with yourself

Please do not participate in-person if:

If you need to cancel an existing reservation on short notice due to illness or COVID-19, please email striveanduplift@gmail.com to let us know and we will waive the late cancellation fee.

Get ready for your class/session

*A $20 cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel less than 24 hours prior to your session start time (unless due to sickness) or do not show up for your session, except in the case of illness.

While you’re moving

After your class/session

Returning to the Gym after Exposure or Positive Test

To resume participating in-person, please follow current CDC Quarantine & Isolation procedures, page updated 3/20/22.

In all cases, once the timeline is completed, a negative antigen (rapid) test is required before participating in-person.

Flowchart showing return to gym process for the different scenarios after a positive test. These steps are detailed in the COVID policy.

If you feel sick again or experience another exposure within 90 days of having COVID, use an antigen (rapid) test to confirm positive result and refer to the timeline above before coming back to the gym.

We are so grateful for your help in keeping yourself and our community safe and healthy!
